Pedialyte Classic Liters are an advanced hydration solution specially formulated with an optimal balance of sugar and electrolytes needed to help replenish vital fluids and minerals, which when lost, can lead to dehydration. Pedialyte Classic Liters can help prevent dehydration* caused by vomiting, diarrhea, exercise, travel, and heat exhaustion.

Pedialyte® Classic Ingredients
Water, Dextrose. Less than 2% of: Citric Acid, Potassium Citrate, Salt, Sodium Citrate, Natural Flavor, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium, and Zinc Gluconate.
Directions
  • Do not use if printed band around cap or inner foil seal is missing or broken.
  • Remove protective band and twist off cap.
  • Remove and throw away protective foil seal.
  • After opening, replace cap, refrigerate and use within 48 hours.
  • Store unopened bottles in a cool place. Avoid excessive heat.
  • Do not reuse bottle.

Use
  • For infants under 1 year of age: Consult your doctor.
  • For children 1 year and older and adults: Begin with small frequent sips every 15 minutes, increasing serving size as tolerated. Continue for as long as diarrhea is present.
  • To maintain proper hydration, 1-2 liters (32 to 64 fl oz) of Pedialyte may be needed per day. Consult your doctor if vomiting, fever, or diarrhea continues beyond 24 hours or if consumption needs are greater than 2 liters (64 fl oz) per day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made surgery prep a breeze In the past, my prep for abdominal surgery and a colonoscopy were horrible experiences. The medication tasted awful and I couldn’t keep it down. The lack of hydration and incomplete course of meds caused cramps, chills and other unpleasantness. Then my doctor’s office and a friend recommended an over-the-counter alternative that made all the difference. The flavorless powder mixed with Pedialyte tasted good, kept me hydrated, and I was able to gently complete the prep without all the nasty side effects.

I used the Pedialyte when my 2 older children were children and now I use Pedialyte for my baby and us adults. We got the no flavor for the baby and us Adults get different flavors. Working in a high demand customer service job, I know I feel a difference when I drink a Pedialyte at work. My adult children drink it after working out or when we go on a long hike in the mountains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strawberry Pedialyte on Ice is Great I had a terrible stomach thing and couldn't keep anything down - even juice or water were making me nauseas. I felt light-headed and knew I had to have something. I got two liters. I had to barely sip the mixed fruit little by little, but within in a few hours I was able to start eating bland soup and plain bread. Next day I put the strawberry flavor on ice to rehydrate, and it is very tasty. I can feel my brain working better from it, like it makes me feel clear-headed. I will be using Pedialyte more frequently in the future!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pedialyte My Savior I started using pedialyte daily when I became competitive in my athletic events. Pedialyte gives me the perfect amount of electrolytes potassium and sodium to compete at the highest levels and stay hydrated. Pedialyte is definitely not just for babies.
